America’s First Church in Santa Fe, New Mexico

Is thought to be America’s oldest surviving Church. The Church is located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It is open for tours and accepts a donation for entry. The outside is typical southwest with an Adobe Façade. The whole town of Santa Fe would be worth a visit. The bell of the church dates back to the 13th Century.

Parts of foundation 1200’s

Sturcture early 1500’s

I have read conflicting dates on the completion of construction but early 1500s seem to be the norm.  It sits on top of another Pueblo foundation dating back to the 1200s.
